Kelsey Voss
Ministry Associate
Kelsey Voss
Kelsey Voss started volunteering at Silent Blessings Deaf Ministries in 2014 when she was 16. She continued through high school, splitting her days between school and interning under Marshall Lawrence and Janeen Jarrell. Thanks to God’s timing, the ministry moved to Indianapolis from Anderson when Kelsey started college and she became a Ministry Assistant. Kelsey earned her Associate’s degree in American Sign Language and Deaf Studies at Vincennes University’s satellite campus at Indiana School for the Deaf. She then transferred to Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) for a bachelor’s in American Sign Language Interpreting.
Kelsey now works part-time as a community interpreter and part-time at the ministry, thriving where God has called her to be.
Outside of work, Kelsey grew up near the old ministry location in Anderson. Kelsey married her high school sweetheart in 2020 and is involved in the Young Adult ministry at East 91st St Christian Church.
