Deaf Kids Connect Parent Support Zooms

The greatest gift we can give to our Deaf and Hard of Hearing children—or any children—is a life fully devoted to Christ. We live in a world overflowing with resources and access, yet Scripture reminds us that one thing is truly necessary.
Join us this month as we discuss what it looks like to faithfully serve Christ by discipling our children from a place of deep devotion to Him.
(Meeting held in English with ASL interpretation)
Parent Support Groups are provided by Deaf Kids Connect and supported through donor generosity. While there is no cost to attend, each gathering includes administrative and interpreting expenses. If you wish to help cover these costs, you may donate $15 by clicking “add donation” before confirming your free ticket order. Giving is optional, and families are welcome to participate regardless.
About Parent Support Zooms
Each month, Deaf Kids Connect hosts a parent support Zoom call discussing a relevant topic for families raising Deaf and Hard of Hearing children. In these monthly calls, a rich community is cultivated as like-minded parents meet and connect with each other offering practical support, empathy and encouragement – an opportunity that is RARELY available to families in their local contexts. Deeply committed to Biblical truth, the facilitators of these meetings tackle highly relevant and practical topics with application-ready- answers that ultimately culminate in surrender and Lordship to Jesus Christ; first in ourselves as parents and next in our homes.
Attending a zoom call is highly flexible. Parents are encouraged to attend whichever meeting topics they feel are most beneficial and can participate to whatever degree they feel comfortable. This means parents are welcome to join with their cameras on, openly commenting and joining the conversation … or for parents elbow-deep in dishes –viewing or listening with their camera/mics off.
The purpose of these calls is simple; To connect families in a personal way as we share the same mission of sharing the love of Jesus with the children in our homes, both hearing and Deaf. There is no cost for these meetings but registration is required. We’d love to see you on a call soon!
