Amonte
December 4th, 2012
Now that you’ve met Paul Patterson meet his wife, Ticona, and their Deaf son, Amonte.
They have more to share about how God used Silent Blessings and the Dr. Wonder’s Workshop television show to bring this family together in a very special way, and about the spiritual nurture the entire family has received.
To bring families together and to plant the seeds of faith in the home
This is the heart of the mission God has called us to. We’re delighted when we receive message like these every week from families all over the world:
-
- (from Texas) I like your movies. My cousin named Tres is deaf and we love to watch your shows together. I know sign language and I want to be a speech pathologesit when I grow up. My favorite song is your theme song…I love it!
-
- (from California) I love your shows. My Mommie went mute at age 9 and learned signed language. Her sister learned sign language as well. My Mommie was able to talk again after 15 months. She and my aunt still use sign language and they have been teaching it to my Daddy, me, and my little brother. I like like that you talk about Jesus. Tomorrow is Sunday here, and I will go to church.
-
- (from the United Kingdom) I have learned about team work today. I have also learned to put things where they belong. In future I will not work alone and I will try to put things back to where they belong.
